NAAEE Research Commission

Dr. Krasny is Chair-Elect of the Research Commission of the North American Association for Environmental Education (NAAEE). Her goals as Research Commission Chair are two-fold:

1. Engage environmental education researchers in critical reflection on the larger impacts of their research. This goal is being addressed through the 2008 NAAEE Research Symposium, at which participants will discuss the question: EE Research: To What End?
2. Create partnership with researchers from different disciplines, such as environmental psychology, environmental sociology, and ecosystems ecology. Partnerships will be the theme of the 2009 NAAEE Research Symposium.

The 2009 NAAEE Research Symposium will take place October 6-7 in Portland OR. Deadline for abstract submission: February 1, 2009.
